Team First Recruitment is partnering with a growing construction contractor to recruit a Business Development Manager. You will lead growth across the construction division, identifying new project opportunities and building long-term relationships with clients across the construction industry.

Business Development Manager

This established, expanding construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its construction division.

Due to continued growth, this is a new strategic role to increase market share, secure high-value construction projects and build long-term relationships with clients across the construction industry.

The Role:

You’ll take ownership of business development across the construction business, identifying new project opportunities and creating sustainable growth within both existing and new contacts.You will be responsible for developing relationships with developers, architects and end users to secure new projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure and public sector developments.

You’ll lead the commercial aspects of major opportunities, from identifying projects and qualifying leads through to tender submissions, commercial negotiations and successful appointment.

You will also be responsible for managing and developing an internal sales executives, mentoring and helping them grow the business.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of sales and business development within the construction sector, you could have worked for a manufacturer or contractor developing new relationships. You will need to have a strong understanding of the UK construction market and procurement routes along with excellent networking, presentation and relationship management skills.

Package: £50-60,000 Basic, £10,000 OTE, Business and Travel Expenses, Company Pension
