Job summary

Lib Dems in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Constituency Caseworker (0.8 FTE) to support the MP and staff. You will analyse patterns of enquiries and produce reports, and assist surgeries and meetings.

You will handle large numbers of standard queries and complex cases via phone, email, social media or in person, draft responses, and ensure records are kept confidential in line with data protection laws. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing enquiry patterns and producing reports.
• Ability to draft responses to constituents and manage confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Analyse patterns of enquiries and produce reports.
• Assist surgeries and meetings and follow up as appropriate.
• Attend constituency meetings as appropriate.
• Deal with large numbers of standard queries and assist on more complex cases via phone, email, social media or face to face.
• Draft responses to constituents.
• Ensure records are kept and information managed confidentially in line with the Data Protection Act.
• There may be a requirement for the role holder to work outside of the normal working hours and travel for work occasionally.
