Job summary

Salford CVS is recruiting to support the community‑led violence reduction programme in Salford, focused on Little Hulton. The role works with young people, communities and VCSE partners to identify priorities and pathways for investment.

The post offers a part‑time schedule (18.75 hours per week), NJC Grade 23 with a £35,570 annual full‑time equivalent, and a supportive, Living Wage employer environment with development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Understanding Little Hulton - mapping the physical assets and getting to know who lives and works there
• Community engagement and co-design - engaging with young people and communities to understand the strengths and challenges in Little Hulton, and collaborating with them to get their ideas and insight to inform the priorities for investment
• Amplifying community voice - ensuring lived experience and youth voice is embedded across the programme
• Providing grants to VCSE organisations - to deliver the priorities identified by young people and the community of Little Hulton
• Supporting the delivery partnership - the formation and ongoing support for the local VCSE Violence Reduction Partnership
