Job summary

Softcat is seeking a proactive Communications Executive to join its Marketing Communications team in a part-time role. You will craft and manage messaging across intranet, email, press and blogs, supporting both internal updates and external campaigns.

Working with Marketing and Design, you’ll help deliver campaigns, track engagement, and ensure timely responses to requests. Hybrid setup with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and create content for intranet, email, press releases, newsletters and blogs.
• Support internal updates, announcements and employee newsletters.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design to deliver communications campaigns.
• Track metrics (engagement, media mentions) and prepare monthly reports.
• Review incoming requests in Communications inbox and route to teams.
• Support Communications and Marketing teams to meet objectives.
