Softcat plc is seeking a creative Communications Executive to support internal and external communications. The role focuses on storytelling, clear writing, and coordinating across Marketing, Design, and the wider business.

The ideal candidate excels at writing and has a keen eye for detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects. This part-time, hybrid role offers flexible hours and opportunities to influence Softcat's voice across channels.

Qualifications

• Strong written skills and storytelling ability for internal and external comms.
• Ability to edit and craft content for multiple channels (intranet, email, press).
• Comfort with coordinating across Marketing, Design, and wider business.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and create content for intranet, email, press releases and newsletters.
• Support internal updates, announcements and employee newsletters.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design to deliver communications campaigns.
• Track engagement metrics and compile monthly performance reports.
• Screen requests in the Communications inbox and route to appropriate teams.
• Assist Communications team and broader Marketing to meet objectives.
