Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Nurse/Practitioner to join the Clinical Research Service. The role supports research delivery across EDGH & Conquest Hospital, coordinating academic and commercial studies and ensuring GCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and independently deliver academic and commercial clinical research studies.
• Set up and manage ESHT-approved studies with regulatory compliance.
• Identify, screen, recruit and consent participants per protocols and GCP.
• Perform clinical assessments and collect study data within scope of practice.
• Maintain study documentation and liaise with sponsors and investigators.
• Supervise junior staff and contribute to education activities.
