Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a part-time Clinical Research Nurse/Practitioner to support the Clinical Research Service across ESHT. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality studies, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an experienced RN or Clinical Research Practitioner with knowledge of governance and GCP, capable of managing a diverse study portfolio and collaborating with sponsors, investigators and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of research delivery and governance.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Ability to work independently with a varied study portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and independently deliver academic and commercial clinical research studies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to ICH-GCP and NHS governance standards.
• Identify, screen, recruit and consent eligible participants per protocols.
• Supervise and mentor Band 4/5 staff; contribute to education activities.
• Travel between EDGH and Conquest Hospital as required.
