Job summary

Qualifications

• Involves recruiting participants into a wide range of research studies.
• Informed consent processes and data collection in line with ICH GCP.
• Works with research clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and other support staff.
• Compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice and EU directives.

Responsibilities

• Screen and identify patients eligible for clinical trials.
• Provide verbal and written information and support to patients and carers during participation.
• Assist in informed consent when appropriate and act as a point of contact for patients.
• Take and process clinical samples and coordinate tissue sample collection.
• Coordinate approvals from Research Governance and Local Ethics Committees.
