Job summary

Mount Charles Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the Kerry Foods site in Coleraine. You will ensure offices, kitchens and rest areas are cleaned to the required standards, following COSHH guidelines and trained safety procedures.

This part-time role offers 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible start times. Mount Charles provides benefits including holidays, pension, training, uniform and more.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
• Self-motivated, working independently and on own initiative.
• Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Basic statutory training; ability to understand safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas (offices, kitchen and rest areas) are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure full working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed after correct training.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use.
• Ensure safety signage is used appropriately at all times.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and equipment stored correctly and safely.
