DN Colleges Group seeks a part-time Chef Lecturer to join our Catering and Hospitality team in Scunthorpe. You will deliver high-quality teaching, support students to achieve culinary qualifications, and foster a positive learning environment.

The role requires a Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards), Level 3 in catering/hospitality, and a Food Safety qualification, plus at least three years in catering.

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 professional qualification in catering or hospitality.
• Food Safety qualification.
• Minimum Level 2 Maths and English.
• At least three years' experience in catering/hospitality.
• Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support within Catering and Hospitality programmes.
• Act as a Programme Tutor, providing academic and pastoral guidance to students.
• Prepare learning materials, assess student work, monitor progress and maintain learner records.
• Support students in developing industry-relevant skills and behaviours.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen management.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities.
• Support student recruitment and promotion activities.
• Work collaboratively to provide an outstanding student experience.
