Job summary

The College in Rotherham is seeking an experienced Curriculum Team Leader for Catering and Hospitality to lead a respected department and shape its future as a regional Centre of Excellence.

You will balance hands-on teaching with leadership, delivering approx. 828 teaching hours per year across levels, mentoring Lecturers and Onsite Assessors, and building industry partnerships to create high-value work placements for students.

Qualifications

• Formal teaching qualification is required (Assessor’s Award ideal).
• Vocationally relevant qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Experience leading a Catering & Hospitality department.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Lecturers, Technicians, and Onsite Assessors.
• Deliver approx. 828 teaching hours per year across all levels.
• Oversee course performance, attendance, retention, and achievement.
• Build industry partnerships to shape curriculum and secure work placements.
• Oversee real-world training environments aligned with industry standards.
