Job summary

14Forty is seeking a passionate Chef for a part-time role, contracting to 28 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality dishes, lead a kitchen team, and help shape menus while upholding brand standards across Compass Group UK&I.

The position offers opportunities to progress within a market-leading food service company in the UK. You will contribute to menu development, respond to customer feedback, and ensure hygiene and safety compliance across the kitchen.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Food Hygiene certificate
• Experience supervising a team
• Experience as a Chef

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to continuously improve.
• Support creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Represent 14Forty and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
