Job summary

B&Q Kendal is hiring a Checkouts Customer Advisor on a part-time contract. You’ll be the face of the store at the tills, helping customers, handling sales and click & collect, and keeping displays tidy.

You’ll need to be friendly, eager to learn, and comfortable using new technologies; a rota includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. The role offers training and a supportive team environment.

The position is 12 hours per week with a 3-month fixed term, paying £13.10 per hour, in Kendal.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, enjoy helping customers
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology and processes
• Ability to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the checkouts and on the shop floor to support sales and service
• Handle click & collect orders, set up displays and ensure the store looks inviting
• Provide great customer service at the tills and maintain store standards
