Job summary

B&Q Banbury is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor for checkout duties. You will be the friendly, knowledgeable help at the till, promoting sales, handling click & collect, and keeping displays tidy. A strong customer focus and team spirit are essential.

The role is 16 hours per week on a 3-month fixed term contract, with shifts across a Monday–Sunday pattern and potential for varied hours. Salary is notional hourly UK rate; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; eager to learn and adapt to a busy store.
• Able to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Willing to learn new technology and display/shop floor standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert checkout assistance and guidance to customers.
• Drive sales, click & collect, and ensure displays are set and looking attractive.
• Deliver great customer service at till with accuracy and efficiency.
