Job summary

Helen & Douglas House in Marlow is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to join a busy charity shop team. This permanent part-time role covers 30 hours per week, with weekend rota work and a supportive management structure.

You will lead volunteers, deliver excellent customer service, and help maximise sales while maintaining stocks and reporting. Full training provided; interviews conducted virtually; DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience in charity retail is helpful but not required.
• Good organisational and IT skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage volunteers and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support shop volunteers to maximise sales profits.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and product presentation.
• Co-ordinate weekend rota and assist with training and reporting.
