Job summary

Brightwork Limited in Dalkeith is recruiting temporary full-time catering staff for our prestigious client. The role covers food preparation, simple cooking, temperature checks, service at hot plate and salad bar, till work, and kitchen cleaning in a busy canteen environment.

The position requires prior catering experience and food hygiene training (ideally a food hygiene certificate). Hours are 25 per week across 5 days with some weekend work, including AM and PM shifts.

• Previous catering experience required.
• Food hygiene training preferred (certificate ideal).

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and simple cooking duties in a busy canteen.
• Temperature checks and service at hot plate and salad bar.
• Till operation and kitchen cleaning.
• Assist with plated meals during busy service periods.

Job description

This role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our Prestigious client in the Dalkeith Area and require temporary full time catering staff for our clients sites.

Your Time at Work

Hours of Work are 25 hours per week working 5 days over 7 (so this will include some weekend work) - this will be a combination of AM and PM work so flexibility is required.

Main duties include food preparation / simple cooking / temperature checks /service at hot plate and salad bar etc. / till work / kitchen cleaning / any other duties required in a busy canteen environment.

There are also Hospitality duties required for this role - plated lunch and dinner service.
