Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject with recent industrial experience.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to train for one.
• Well organised with ability to manage peaks and troughs of a varied workload.
• Effective communicator with students and peers.

Responsibilities

• Teach Carpentry & Joinery up to Level 3, primarily for 16–18 full-time students and apprentices.
• Prepare and assess work, monitor progress, and complete reports.
• Deliver outstanding teaching and learning and develop flexible learning materials.
