The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to support EPNE on a temporary basis in Sunderland. Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery qualifications through practical workshops and classroom theory.

Responsibilities include planning, preparing, assessing learning, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records while upholding industry standards and safeguarding. A Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery, Level 2 Maths and English, and Enhanced DBS

Qualifications

A Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery.
Teaching Carpentry & Joinery in Further Education.
Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).

Responsibilities

Delivering Level 1 and Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery qualifications.
Planning, preparing, and assessing learning in line with curriculum requirements.
Teaching both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory lessons.
Supporting learners with target setting, progress reviews, and achievement of qualifications.
Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate student records.
Promoting safe working practices and industry standards within workshop environments.
Supporting learners to develop employability and trade-specific skills.
