Job summary

RDCP Care Limited is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join the teams at Coton House (WV4) and Coton Grange (WV6) in Wolverhampton. This part-time role covers two homes with a 20-hour week and pays £14 per hour.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required; on-site parking is available. You will perform day-to-day maintenance on the fabric of the buildings, services and grounds to ensure safe and functional homes.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required to travel between two sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and decoration and ensure the maintenance of the care homes exterior.
• Report defects to appliances, furniture, equipment and hazards to the Manager.
• Liaise with visiting contractors and deliveries.
• Ensure ventilation units and lights are kept clean and tested.
• Maintain records of all required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks.
