Aurem Care is seeking a maintenance helper to keep our premises and grounds in a high standard, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents. You will handle repairs, electrical checks, fire safety tasks and light maintenance across the home.

The role requires experience in maintenance, knowledge of Health & Safety regs, a driving licence, and IT literacy. Part-time hours with benefits include DBS, meals, pension and training opportunities.

Formación

• Must have maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing or joinery).
• Knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations.
• Experience in a care environment is advantageous.
• Must have a driving licence and own transportation.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office and PC/Laptop use.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out repairs or contact engineers as needed.
• Perform basic visual electrical checks on equipment and report faults.
• Ensure daily/weekly/monthly fire checks are completed.
• Pre-weekend checks on lights, electricals and heating.
• Submit monthly meter readings to Administrator/Manager.
• Undertake general redecorating and ground maintenance.
• Coordinate with nursing staff when works affect resident care.
• Contribute to KPI data collection when directed.
