Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a caring and motivated Support Worker to join the team at Oakhurst Lodge in the UK. You will help adults with autism and learning disabilities live independent lives, support daily routines, and participate in community activities.

This 20-hour per week role offers a stable schedule with day shifts and a focus on compassionate care, training, and development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with autism or learning disabilities in a care setting.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check and training.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily routines to promote independence.
• Assist with activities, social events, and community access.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the team.
