Job summary

Cygnet is hiring a Support Worker (Learning Disabilities) at Oakhurst Lodge. You’ll support adults with autism and learning disabilities, promoting independence and community integration across a 42-hour contract with 12-hour day shifts on a 7-day rota.

We provide training, induction and ongoing development. Expect meaningful daily work, a caring team, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities in a care setting.
• Understanding of behaviours that may challenge and a proactive support approach.
• Caring, compassionate and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Team-focused and able to work collaboratively in a supportive environment.
• Flexibility to support community activities, events and meaningful experiences.
• Commitment to promoting independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing.
