Job summary

Prime Life is seeking caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join a friendly team in Leicester. This part-time role at Ashlands Care Home involves supporting residents with daily activities, meals, mobility, and social engagement, with comprehensive training provided.

The role offers regular shifts, DBS funding, and a referral bonus program, with opportunities to develop within a supportive Quality Matters team.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful attitude toward residents.
• Willingness to undergo full training; prior care experience is desirable but not required.
• Commitment to upholding dignity and wellbeing of residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit for the day.
• Support residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage residents to mobilise safely around the home with mobility aids.
• Provide friendship and companionship; accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary care team to promote residents' health and wellbeing.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
