Job summary

Prime Life is seeking caring Care Assistants to join our team at Ashlands Care Home in Leicester. This part-time role offers flexible shifts and ongoing support from our Quality Matters team.

You will assist residents with daily living, including personal care, dining, mobility, and social activities, while keeping records up to date and ensuring dignity and respect. DBS is fully funded, and there is a Refer a Friend scheme worth up to £250 per successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Full training provided; previous Care Assistant experience desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work with residents with dementia and demonstrate empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing outfits.
• Support residents to dine and maintain nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents on outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' health and well-being.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
