Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for full-time work at Woodlands Care Home in the Oadby area of Leicester. The role focuses on dignified support for residents with various health needs, requiring patience and a caring approach.

Qualifications

Patience and understanding of residents' individual abilities; dementia awareness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit for the day.
Support residents to dine and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
Encourage safe mobilization with mobility aids and equipment.
Provide friendship, companionship, and accompany residents to appointments or social outings.
Maintain accurate written records and documentation.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' health and well-being.
Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
