Job summary

Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our team in Warwick. You will support customers in their own homes, working 20–25 hours per week with one evening and alternate weekends.

We offer paid training (£12.75ph), paid shadowing (£15.00ph), and benefits including double pay on bank holidays, uniform and PPE, and Blue Light Card discounts. A full UK driving licence and right to work are required.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
  • Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
  • Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements
  • *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*

  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
