Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking a part-time Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or a qualified CBT Therapist, to join the CAMHS team in Bath and North East Somerset. This fixed-term maternity cover role offers supervision and a collaborative, supportive multidisciplinary environment within a thriving CBT/Psychology team.

The post holder will conduct psychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, contributing to service development, audits, and teaching where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology. OR, Master/Diploma in CBT with a core qualification in a field of mental health including psychiatric nursing, social work or occupational therapy.
• Registration with HCPC or equivalent.
• BABCP accreditation for CBT Therapists.
• Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT / psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions as part of a CAMHS care plan, with children, young people and their families.
• Contribute to the multi agency team working with a young person.
• Assess and identify risk, undertake care plans and risk assessments; contribute to the CAMHS duty system and other urgent care work as required.
• Provide supervision to members of the team.
• Deliver group and team-based interventions.
• Offer consultation to team members and those across the organisation as required.
