Oxford Health NHS Trust in Bath and North East Somerset is seeking a part-time Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or a qualified CBT Therapist, for CAMHS. The post is a fixed-term maternity cover at 22.5 hours per week, with supervision and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role focuses on psychological assessment, CBT/therapy, risk assessment, and service development within a supportive CAMHS team, offering opportunities for teaching, audit and research where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology or CBT qualification with core mental health field
• HCPC registration or equivalent
• BABCP accreditation for CBT Therapists
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Pre-qualification training/experience in research methods or applied psychology
• Willingness to work towards EMDR UK accreditation

Responsabilités

• Provide CBT/psychological assessments and interventions as part of CAMHS care plans.
• Contribute to multi-agency work with a young person.
• Assess and identify risk; develop care plans and risk assessments.
• Provide supervision to team members.
• Deliver group and team-based interventions.
• Offer consultation to colleagues across the organisation.
