Job summary

Loch Arthur Camphill Community is seeking a part-time butcher to join our farm shop team. You will be one of two front people on the butchery counter, serving customers and ensuring quality meat is prepared for sale in the shop and cafe.

The role requires willingness to learn, friendly customer service, and teamwork within a supportive community. We offer a responsible working environment with emphasis on health, safety, hygiene, and quality, with PVG clearance required and the right to work in

Qualifications

• Butcher and prepare quality packed meat for sale on the counter and for use in the farm shop kitchen.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable service within the farm shop.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain high standards.
• Maintain high standards in all aspects of work, including cleanliness and hygiene.
• Have awareness of Health and Safety and the Loch Arthur ethos.

Responsibilities

• Butcher and prepare quality packed meat for sale on our counter and for use in the farm shop kitchen.

• Collaborate with the team to propose new products customers may want.
