Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established, family run business near Exeter Airport to recruit a Part Time Bookkeeper.

This hands-on role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, weekly payroll, and general finance administration. An on-site presence is important as you become a trusted part of the office team, with flexible hours offering two to three full days per week or shorter days across the week.

Qualifications

• Experience with day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
• Proficient with Xero and payroll processes.
• Ability to work on-site in Exeter and support finance administration.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero or similar software.
• Process purchase and sales invoices and maintain ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash postings.
• Support weekly payroll processing.
• Assist with journals, control accounts, and month-end routines.
• Prepare information for external accountants.
• Provide general finance administration and office support.
