Job summary

Confidential is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper in Redruth (outskirts) to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is 16 hours across two days per week, with Monday required and potential for some home working in the future.

You will work with an experienced Finance Manager on varied transactional finance, bookkeeping and payroll duties, using Sage Line 50. The role offers flexibility in hours and site-based start with possible remote elements.

Part-Time Bookkeeper - Redruth (outskirts) - Salary negotiable depending on experience

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a long-established and highly regarded Cornish business, who seek to recruit a part-time Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role will see you work 2 days per week (16hrs), with one of those days required to be a Monday (the client is flexible around the second working day). There may be scope for the hours to vary in the future for the right candidate, and whilst the role will initially be site based, there is potential for some working from home to develop.

Working with an experienced Finance Manager the successful candidate will take responsibility for a varied range of transactional finance, bookkeeping and payroll administration duties.

Using Sage Line 50, the role will involve the following key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and transactional finance duties
• Process purchase and sales ledger transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records and undertake regular bank reconciliations
• Assist with payroll administration
• Support with month-end procedures and reporting

For this role we seek an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant with a good understanding of day-to-day transactional finance procedures. Previous experience using Sage Line 50 will be essential and some knowledge of payroll administration would be advantageous.
