Job summary

Princess Alice Hospice is seeking an experienced Bereavement Counsellor to provide high-quality clinical assessments and individual bereavement support for adults. This 22.5-hour per week role focuses on holistic, person-centered care within our Bereavement Service.

You will be a qualified counsellor with at least two years post-qualification experience, skilled in culturally sensitive, empathic counselling both in-person and via electronic media, and capable of conducting clinical assessments.

Qualifications

• Qualified counsellor with at least two years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in bereavement support for adults, in-person and via electronic media.
• Strong understanding of bereavement theories and significant loss.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical assessments for adults needing bereavement support.
