Job summary

Platfform Wellbeing is seeking a Bereavement Counsellor in Cardiff, Wales, to work with the Lead Counsellor on delivering a counselling service for bereaved individuals. This fixed-term contract runs until March 2028 under a Welsh Government funded project aimed at providing psychological relief during emotionally challenging anniversaries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver counselling to bereaved clients following assessment and 6-session model.
• Support Lead Counsellor in running a Welsh Government funded project in South Wales.
• Provide information on bereavement models and coping strategies to clients.
• Assist with occasional other Platfform Wellbeing projects when workload allows.
