UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Support Worker to assist a 10-year-old boy with autism in Bishop Auckland. The role involves providing practical support during school holidays for 5–10 hours per week, mainly on Thursdays, with activities including social outings and light transport.

The candidate should have experience with autism, be comfortable with limited verbal skills, and be willing to be DBS checked. A car driver with own car is preferred, and occasional in-home care may be required.

Qualificações

• Experience of working with children with autism is required.
• Excellent communication and patience with a non-verbal child would be beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
