Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a friendly, experienced personal care assistant to support a child in Hartburn/Stockton-on-Tees. This part-time role involves helping with daily routines, meals, personal and domestic care, and accompanying the child to outings and therapy sessions.

A DBS check is required or a willingness to obtain one. A full UK driving license and own vehicle are preferred. The role emphasizes safeguarding, calm handling of challenging behavior, and maintaining a safe, welcoming home

Qualifications

• Prior experience caring for children with autism and developmental delays (essential).
• Good communication skills and a respectful approach to working in a family home.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow care routines.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and personal care.
• Domestic care and keeping living space safe and organized.
• Support with daily routines including toileting and feeding.
