Job summary

UKCIL Ltd in Cramlington (NE23) seeks a patient and reliable Support Worker for a 10-hour-per-week role caring for a 15-year-old with autism, epilepsy and learning disabilities. You’ll assist with social and leisure activities at home and in the community, helping him access his interests and stay engaged.

The role requires calm, clear communication and a patient approach; epilepsy training will be provided. A driving licence and vehicle access are preferred to enable local outings.

Qualifications

• Patient, caring and dependable with a calm, positive approach.
• Experience supporting young people with autism, epilepsy or learning disabilities (desirable).
• Willing to undertake epilepsy training.
• Holds a driving licence and has access to a vehicle (preferred).
