Job summary

Shurgard Self-Storage in Oldbury is seeking an Assistant Store Manager on a part-time basis (2 days per week) with a fixed monthly salary and a structured bonus scheme plus benefits. You will help customers, promote storage solutions, and support store operations.

We value retail or customer service experience, the ability to work alone and in a team, and a commitment to training and promotion opportunities.

Qualifications

• You ideally have retail / commercial work experience(e.g. consultative sales or customer service).
• You enjoy advising and convincing customers.
• You can work alone and in a team.
• You are reliable, honest, and committed.
• You are interested in further training and promotion opportunities.
• You do not mind keeping the warehouse clean.
• Microsoft Office: Outlook and Word is desirable

Responsibilities

• Advising interested customers on site face to face in the store, over the phone, online and via email.
• Renting of our storage rooms, merchandise sales and achieving the required targets.
• Supporting existing customers with queries and any issues.
• General administrative activities and contract management.
• Support for the smooth operation of our stores.
