Shurgard Self-Storage in Gloucester is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The role involves advising customers on-site, by phone, online and email, renting storage rooms, selling merchandise and meeting targets to drive business.

You will support existing customers with queries and manage contracts to ensure smooth store operations. The position offers a fixed salary of £27,600 with a monthly bonus and benefits, plus opportunities for training and promotion to Store Manager

Qualifications

• Retail or commercial work experience.
• Enjoy advising and convincing customers.
• Able to work alone and in a team.
• Reliable, honest and committed.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on-site face-to-face in-store, over the phone, online and via email.
• Rent storage rooms, drive merchandise sales and achieve targets.
• Support existing customers with queries and issues.
• Handle general administrative activities and contract management.
• Support the smooth operation of our stores.
