Job summary

Shurgard Self-Storage in Wellingborough is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. You will assist customers on-site and remotely, rent storage rooms, and help drive sales while supporting existing customers with queries.

The role offers training, promotion pathways to Store Manager, and a structured store operation. A strong focus on reliability and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or consultative sales or customer service.
• Ability to advise and persuade customers.
• Reliable, honest, and able to work both independently and in a team.

• Rent storage rooms, drive merchandise sales and meet targets.

• Advising interested customers on site face to face in the store, over the phone, online and via email.
• Renting of our storage rooms, merchandise sales and achieving the required targets.
• Supporting existing customers with queries and any issues.
