Job summary

Shurgard Self-Storage in Salford is seeking an Assistant Store Manager on a part-time basis (3 days per week). You will advise customers in-store, over the phone, online and via email, rent storage rooms, and help meet targets while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• You ideally have retail / commercial work experience (e.g. consultative sales or customer service).
• You enjoy advising and convincing customers.
• You can work alone and in a team.
• You are reliable, honest, and committed.
• You are interested in further training and promotion opportunities.
• You do not mind keeping the warehouse clean.
• Microsoft Office: Outlook and Word is desirable

Responsibilities

• Advising interested customers on site face to face in the store, over the phone, online and via email.
• Renting of our storage rooms, merchandise sales and achieving the required targets.
• Supporting existing customers with queries and any issues.
• General administrative activities and contract management.
• Support for the smooth operation of our stores.
