Job summary

Shy Horse, part of Vintage Inns under Mitchells & Butlers, seeks a Part Time Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading the team and delivering excellent guest experiences.

You will mentor staff, drive service standards, and be a role model for development within the team, ensuring moments that WOW guests and keep them returning to the pub group.

Qualifications

• Management experience in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to train and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER YOU’LL…

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
