Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking an Assistant Manager at Hawes Inn in a busy pub setting. You will support the General Manager, lead a team, and drive guest satisfaction with a hands-on approach.

Utilise your management experience to mentor staff, maintain service standards, and foster a welcoming, high-energy environment for guests and colleagues alike.

• Proven ability to support a General Manager in daily operations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities for a hospitality team.
• Excellent communication and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running of the business, acting as Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
