Job summary

Salford Council is seeking an Assistant Cook to join a tight-knit team, delivering high-standard catering and stepping in for the Cook Supervisor when needed.

The role requires supervisory experience within a commercial environment, a relevant catering qualification (NVQ 2 or City & Guilds 706/2) and a current Basic Hygiene certificate is desirable. The position is permanent and term time only, with 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a commercial environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook Supervisor and cover in their absence.
