Colchester Institute is recruiting an Apprenticeship Industry Development Coach - Operational Firefighter Level 3 to support Essex-based apprentices. The role involves coaching, liaising with ECFRS and college staff, and ensuring apprentices progress within required timescales.

It is field-based with regular travel across Essex. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, firefighting experience, and solid customer service and QA.

Formación

• Experience liaising with stakeholders internal and external.
• Experience as a Firefighter within The Fire & Rescue Service.
• Proven customer service excellence and quality assurance.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with employer, apprentice and college staff to confirm learning requirements.
• Carry out apprenticeship sign ups and perform admin tasks.
• Liaise with delivery teams to maintain professionalism and QA.
• Conduct 10-week progress reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Promote safeguarding, equality and British values in meetings.
• Support gateway to completion and end point assessment processes.
• Keep apprentice records up to date in Learning Hub and Smart Assessor.
