Job summary

Flourish Education in Tewkesbury is seeking a flexible Teaching Assistant to join an after-school club on a long-term, part-time basis working 3:15pm–6:00pm five days a week.

The role supports Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils, collaborates with class teachers, and aims to create a safe, inclusive environment for activities, games and enrichment after school.

UK school experience is essential, Level 2/3 TA qualifications desirable, and competitive day rates are offered by Flourish Education.

Qualifications

• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting children across different age groups and abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Class Teacher in after-school activities and supervision.
• Assist pupils with activities, games and learning opportunities.
• Adapt activities for different classes, ages and abilities.
• Create a fun, safe and inclusive after-school environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and supportive relationships with peers.
