Job summary

KOOSA Kids is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join the team at Southfield Primary School in Chiswick from September 2026. The role is part-time and runs Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 6pm during term time, with a focus on delivering a varied after-school activity programme in a safe environment.

You will work under the After School Club Manager, helping to supervise children aged 4-11, supporting snack times, and ensuring equipment and spaces are kept clean and ready for the next

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and children.
• Willingness to undertake training and inductions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the After School Club Manager in the safe, organised running of the club.
• Deliver the scheduled activity programme and create a fun, engaging environment.
• Support snack time setup, service and tidy away.
• Be aware of and support children with additional needs as required.
• Build positive relationships with all children to maximise enjoyment.
• Understand Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies, safeguarding practices.
