Job summary

KOOSA Kids is seeking an After School Club Assistant for the Fleet location, 2.45pm–6.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Join a friendly team at Church Crookham Junior School to help run a safe, engaging after-school program for children aged 4–11.

You will support the Club Manager, deliver activities, and ensure a safe environment. DBS disclosure is required; benefits include development opportunities and staff training.

Qualifications

• Passion for childcare and playwork.
• Ability to relate to children aged 4–11.
• Reliable and able to communicate with colleagues and children.
• Experience in primary school or childcare preferred.
• Willingness to undertake Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the After School Club Manager in running the club safely and efficiently.
• Deliver the scheduled activities and encourage broad participation.
• Set up, serve and tidy snack time.
• Be mindful of children with additional needs and support inclusivity.
• Build strong relationships with children to ensure they have fun and feel safe.
• Learn KOOSA Kids policies and safeguarding procedures and apply them daily.
• Keep activity areas clean and tidy at day end.
