Job summary

KOOSA Kids is recruiting an After School Club Assistant for the Tolworth School in Tolworth. The role is part time, term time only, with hours 3.00pm – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Starting September 2026, you will work at the After School Club at The Tolworth School in Tolworth KT6.

You will support the Manager in running the club, delivering activities, managing snack time, safeguarding, and helping children have fun in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Passion or interest in childcare and playwork.
• Energetic, fun, and engaging with children.
• Reliable and able to communicate with colleagues and kids.
• Able to relate to children aged 4—11 years.
• Opportunities to gain qualifications and grow within KOOSA Kids.
• Full training and inductions provided to all assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the club.
• Help set up, deliver daily activities and encourage participation.
• Assist with snack time preparation, serving and tidying.
• Be aware of children with additional needs and maintain safeguarding.
• Build strong relationships to ensure children have fun.
• Follow KOOSA Kids policies and safeguarding standards.
• Keep activity areas clean and tidy at day end.
