Job summary

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is a part-time role of around 25 hours per week, with the business also considering full-time applicants who are the right fit for the role.

The role is an all-round finance position within a supportive and established team.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts or finance environment.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider finance team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales ledger transactions.
• Raise and process invoices and credit notes.
• Match, code and process invoices.
• Bank reconciliations and cash allocations.
• Process payments and receipts.
• Assist with credit control and chasing outstanding debt.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Assist with month-end processes.
• Deal with finance queries from customers and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
