Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is assisting a specialist manufacturer in finding a part-time Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Manager. You will input data into SAGE Line 50, maintain ledgers, and perform VAT handling with strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills. Requirements include accuracy, attention to detail and prior accounting experience.

Fixed hours: Mon-Fri 08:00–12:00, pay £16.00 per hour annually. Duties include supplier/customer queries, posting receipts and payments, and assisting with

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounting environment or similar role.
• Proficiency with SAGE Accounts Line 50.
• Knowledge of VAT accounting and imports/exports.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Manager in varied aspects of the accounting function.
• Data entry into sales and purchase ledgers from source documents into SAGE.
• Cross checking invoices with SAGE; posting receipts and payments.
• Monitoring supply chain purchases and stocks; expenses analysis and reconciliation.
• Assist in production of financial statements and reports.
